Community concern vounteersVolunteer with Seniors - Community Concern volunteers work in the Senior Care Management Service with Friendly home visits, errands and minor home repairs to frail, handicapped and isolated senior neighbors. Community Concern volunteers play a vital role in helping seniors remain independent in their homes. 

Examples of what volunteers do:

  • Send birthday cards
  • Play cards
  • Take seniors shopping
  • Minor home repairs
  • Read to blind seniors
  • Take seniors to doctor appointments
  • Paperwork
  • Facilitate self-help support groups
  • Take seniors to church
  • Tell stories—share the wisdom of age
