Trauma takes many forms and has unlimited causes from loss of a family member, witness a crime or tragic accident, or loss of one’s pet.   Burnout, stress-related illnesses, post-traumatic stress disorder and substance abuse are problems often associated with unresolved issues resulting from a traumatic incident.  

Community Concern staff can offer effective techniques in helping trauma victims return to healthy functioning.  Staff is skilled in the newest technologies including critical incident debriefing, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) that are rapid and effective in reducing anxiety and post-traumatic stress symptoms. Traditional supportive and grief interventions are employed to help victim’s recovery from traumatic losses in their lives
